Check this out-

The EMSC interactive map. Keep zooming in on Hawaii, specifically where you see the largest swarm of quakes. Keep zooming in on that area, and you'll eventually see the quakes plotted into a perfect grid on the map. I'm talking it's a perfect grid with straight lines up/down and across. WTH? I've never seen that, and the EQs should be plotted based on exact latitude/longitude. So, if they are plotted accurately, what the hell?!?

@USGSVolcanoes
There have been 90 autolocated earthquakes at the summit in the last 6 hours. 1 event every 4 minutes. 13 earthquakes with M>3 in the caldera area. Largest was the M4 just north of Halemaumau. Earthquakes are occurring as a result of continued subsidence at the summit.

Anyone know what they mean by autolocated? Could this have something to do with why the quakes are plotted in a perfect grid?
