sounds like my symptoms...and the ribs! Broken ribs are no fun at all.

I hope that your symptoms clear up some over time...mine did...not 100%, but much better.

I had to get used to standing very slowly..lol..it took me many falls to get it right. Stand slowly...wait a few seconds..then move on.

My prayers are with you.

Good morning to all!!!! hi

I feel like I have a hangover. Ugh! Car buying is stressful. Had to go out and look at it LOL. First-world problems :P

How is everyone?
 Quoting: CuriousSeeker

Good mornin'.

It is stressful buying a car. Not sure why, because they do everything for you there at the dealership, it's really just signing a bunch of paperwork. I think must be the stress of a major purchase that takes a toll.

Good thing you don't live here, because we had a hail storm at about 3am out of nowhere that got me out of bed. There was no chance of rain at all, so when I heard hail pounding on my windows I was like WTF? I got up to look outside and rain was literally blowing sideways in sheets. Turned on my phone and pulled up the radar to see where this weather was coming from, and there was nothing anywhere in or near MO or surrounding states - except for one very small but powerful blob of red/orange right over STL. With quarter size hail, lightning and thunder, and gusty winds. Literally developed out of nowhere overnight, long after the heat of the day had subsided, and it came from the north, which is very odd. There was also weirdness on the radar, which I was too sleepy to even think about getting a screenshot of. Tell me that storm wasn't geoengineered.

Anyway, point of this overly long story is I was freaked out about my car out there in the hail! I don't have a garage and I just looked at it from the window feeling helpless. I still haven't gone outside to check her out up close. Looks ok from here, but I wouldn't be surprised if I got some dings last night.

Hope you have a good day! It feels so good knowing I have another day off tomorrow (sorry Simple).
 Quoting: KickinIt

New car or old car, hail can suck it! The damage they can cause still sucks and makes anyone want to wretch a bit. And I can totally feel your anxiety just talking about it. It is NOT FUN!!

Yeah, me too!!! Soooo excited to have Monday off and I get an extra day to play around with my new Ford Escape.

I hope you enjoy the rest of your weekend and tomorrow off as well kickinit.

Keep your spirits up my friends. As bad as things look at times, there is always a light somewhere. Go from strength, belief in yourself and the power of others to make you feel better.

Whether you have a big move coming, seeds to rake on a daily basis, feel under the weather, literally lose your balance in life or need to protect your kids from harm because those who you expect to don't do it, know things will always be alright, because you are who you are, showing strength in the weakest moments. And when you feel too weak, find safety in the knowledge that there are lights out there, to shine, to lend an ear or an eye and to carry you through.

Enjoy your Sunday everyone. Love you all! hf

Report from our #ChefsForHawaii Food First Responders: Lava is at the geothermal power plant...officials may evacuate 10 miles out. Our kitchen is 1.5 miles from plant so backup kitchen being established. @WCKitchen will continue to support evacuees with fresh meals + gas masks!

A 10 mile buffer would be a sizeable chunk of the island.
Ten mile buffer is quite the safety distance, expecting something big? Large rocks going a long way?
