Jazzy,,,I cannot stand to be around little kids...I don't have grandchildren, and it seems like today children are not as well behaved as what I remember times past,,,,they just run around and scream with a high pitch, aimlessly. ........just being honest,,,,  I agree Arnie. My husband and I were talking about that with our son and his wife. When our kids were growing up, they knew instantly that when we told them to stop doing something, they had better well fucking do it right then. Most of the time, all it took was a look, without a word being said, and they knew they better can their shit. But these kids today have absolutely no respect for their elders. They push and scream their way around like wild animals. It's unreal. The 3 year old was wailing constantly because he couldn't get his way and it was blatantly fake. No tears...no sobs...just a constant fucking wail. And the more he was told to stop and shut up, the louder and longer he did it. And I won't even get started on the 5 year old...omg. here's the thing....children will "test" their parents, as their very survival depends upon strong and stable parents, or parent. This testing will go on and on, until the parent takes control and asserts with strength and determination. The kids will increase their shit until that point. When my kids got there,,,I would go and get this huge wooden spoon I use for canning,,,and beat their asses, all three of them. They somehow "knew" when the time was up,,,they would get this look on their faces, like "Oh, oh,,,she's gonna' go get the spoon". After this, they would be perfectly behaved for about 6-9 months,,,then the little "tests" would start up. I'd let it go until spoon-day. If they acted up in a restaurant, I would leave right before or during a meal,,pay the bill, and they got no dinner. Children need to know there is strength and character in their parent,,,not wimps.
