Got jock itch. So went to drugstore and got some Hibiclens antibacterial soap. Washed well with this. By Monday he had a rash all over his body, and his balls blew up to size of baseballs....(I told him to post a picture on Tinder....) and was getting difficult to walk,,,so he went to the ER, and got dosed up with steroids / steroid creams / antibiotic etc. Apparently in some antibacterial soaps there is a component called chlorhexidine, and it has cause quite a number of adverse allergic reactions. Told him to put a note in his wallet to warn any doctors / surgeons not to cleanse with anything but alcohol cleansers, and not to use any public soaps or antibacterial wipes etc. He's much better now after.....thank goodness.  That's exactly how my husband ended up in hospital with septic shock. His scrotum each swelled to the size of grapefruits within 2 days. The poor man couldn't walk. Had to have an ambulance take him in because he couldn't get to the car or sit. I had cleansed the rash with antibacterial soap too. Prayers & positive vibes welcomed. There's a chance it could become more involved with a longer recovery time once they get in there and see what they're really working with. Her surgeon reiterated this to me on two separate occasions, one being last week when he himself called me to remind me of that. Quoting: Simple27 Surgery is due to a torn meniscus. She's gonna be alright either way, but I do hope she gets the easier route with this one. Not sure when I'll be able to update tomorrow. Once she's out of surgery she has to stay there in recovery for a couple of hours. When she can leave I'll be taking her to my mom's house so she can help her while I go to the office, if it's worth going depending on the time. Friday I'll be home with her all day though. Nothing against England, they are a neutral team for me, but I hate France and that would've made for a bummer of a final for me with those two. I love a dark horse and underdog, and Croatia could be it this time around! My money is on Croatia for the final. Even though I love Paris (the city, not Hilton), I believe Croatia deserves it more after the past decades over there. Plus they have excellent players. Croatia all the way! |

She's gonna be alright either way, but I do hope she gets the easier route with this one. Not sure when I'll be able to update tomorrow. Once she's out of surgery she has to stay there in recovery for a couple of hours. When she can leave I'll be taking her to my mom's house so she can help her while I go to the office, if it's worth going depending on the time. Friday I'll be home with her all day though. I would love to see a tiny non-powerhouse of a country win it all! Nothing against England, they are a neutral team for me, but I hate France and that would've made for a bummer of a final for me with those two. I love a dark horse and underdog, and Croatia could be it this time around! My money is on Croatia for the final. Even though I love Paris (the city, not Hilton), I believe Croatia deserves it more after the past decades over there. Plus they have excellent players. Croatia all the way!  Ok good, we're rooting for the same team now! Final is at 10am here sunday. My friend wants to go to a bar down the street to watch - they are opening early for the game. I'd personally rather watch at home in my PJs with coffee, but I'll probably end up there. |
