Quoting: Timur2020 We have had 800+ quake days here lately, now its under 200.....seems to be about location, depth and size. Numbers can be hundreds of 1s & 2s. It does feel sparse after getting used to all those Hawaii quakes for months. But I do think overall the activity has been low even without Hawaii. But today seemed to pick up a bit - in size if not in numbers. It's so weird, no matter how much you watch this stuff, it always feels like you can't make rhyme or reason of it! |

If anyone would like to join me feel free. Also, feeling a little better today. I feel like today my gut is winning. Isis, if you are just starting to do planks and can already do a full 30 seconds (2 rounds at that), then that's great! Most people have to build up to 30 seconds. Takes a lot of core strength. Good job! Oh shit, I forgot I agreed to try it with her lol! ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

We had the same weather late last week & weekend, but today we've had storms off/on and although humid like a greenhouse, it cooled off into the low 80's. I believe we are expecting around mid 80's most of the rest of the week. Hoping this will drift your way in the next 24 hours or so. We've had more humid days than not this summer. Plus higher than normal temps. I'll have to check, but I know we were possibly going to break a heat record here today from 1924. And the news is saying that tomorrow will be even more humid. It's so gross. The office is just gross. You can SMELL the humidity. At least I can. I had the thermostat turned down as low as it would go and it was still 75 degrees in there. My personal office was probably 80+. I even wore a dress today! Unheard of these days at work lol. We've had an air quality alert since yesterday morning that is supposed to end at 11pm tonight somehow. Dew point right now is 72 with a heat index of 88 degrees. Problem is, most of the thunderstorms and even rain miss my area. I swear there's some sort of force field around my immediate area that repels thunderstorms! ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

It's here like that much of the summer. We have breaks here and there, but overall it's humid and nasty and if it's hot enough, the air will feel thick. If we had dry air here I might not mind summer so much. |
