On a happy note, I ordered a scale because I didn't have one in the house. Who likes scales anyway? But I haven't been able to track any potential progress with my complete diet change. Got the scale today and I'm down 15 pounds since I was weighed 3 months ago at the doctor! Hopefully that's a good thing and not a sign of anything bad lol! Quoting: Simple27 WONDERFUL ! Layin' off the carbs will do it. Stick with the meat & lots of veggies. Did you find the honey white bread at Whole Foods? Makes good toast and sandwiches..... Quoting: Arnie I did find it, but I haven't gotten it yet. We do lots of little grocery runs now, but for the next big one I will be using Whole Foods just so I can get that bread lol! A big one is needed about now too. I've been using lettuce a lot in place of bread for 'sandwiches'. And I got some new sectioned tupperware that has one bigger section and two small sections so I've been packing little lunches for work (although I hardly get the chance to eat them). Meats, veggies and fruits are pretty much all that I eat now. And I always follow Paleo recipes when cooking anything. Tonight I'm making Paleo meatballs. Probably without sauce, but with a lot of flavor. Served over a bed of lettuce. Sounds super boring, but the last Paleo meatballs I made were delicious! Trying out a different recipe tonight though. We're having a flood cleanup party so I have to feed the peeps lol! They'll be disappointed in the healthy dinner.
