Dutch was pointing out that this region falls right along the northwestern edge of the North American craton... [ link to upload.wikimedia.org (secure)] Still doesn't account for the number of quakes hitting that area. Almost seems magmatic in nature. Well, that's a good point it is fairly close to the edge. I agree the quakes seem magmatic in nature.
