Been talking to hubby on phone for a looooong time. He left this morning for Dallas by going through Phoenix - quickest way to get to Dallas. He landed almost 3 hours ago at DFW and still sitting on the tarmac because of lightning. It was possibly moving when he hung up, so hopefully soon.

At least his dad is hanging in there while waiting for his son and sister (who was delayed and sent to Oklahoma) as if he knows they are trying to get to him. Dr and hospice nurse don't expect him to make it till Monday and here my hubby sits on a plane instead of with his dad.

My brother headed from Houston to Dallas to go give emotional support to my hubby (they were best friends before hubby and I got married), about a 4 hour drive and he made it to the hospice place before hubby, which shouldn't have happened. LOL He was late leaving.

Oh well, enough about that.

As I was posting those last few quakes, there was a 5.0 in Serbia listed. When I clicked on it to add it here, it said "page not found". As of this moment, it's still listed on the regular emsc site (not the mobile). But I'm sure it will be gone within seconds.

Yes, this is going to be interesting.

ETA: Dutch is livestreaming on his twitch channel right now and he said this Fiji quake will cause a "planetary disturbance" in the coming days.

He also just reminded that the Japan quake occurred shortly after Hawaii volcano drained in 2011. Now today, shortly after HI activity comes to a halt, we have this 8.2.

I truly know how you feel, as I lost my step mum in the last week too. It was sudden and unexpected.
