Hurricane Lane is bearing down on Hawaii. We have LIVE coverage from Severe Weather Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Glenn Burns and Meteorologist Brad Nitz RIGHT NOW on Channel 2 Action News. (Video from Surfline.com) [ link to www.facebook.com (secure)] Hurricanes are scary enough without being on a damn island when one hits. I would be petrified. I still follow the HI thread, and that Rev. Woo Woo is a gutsy lady. I guess you resign yourself to some things when you live on an island like that. Nowhere to go, unless you can afford to get on a plane. Which is never cheap to/from Hawaii. I hope her and all HI GLPers stay out of harms way.
