Arnie User ID: 74616545 United States 08/26/2018 12:24 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | An unexpected KP7 solar storm has arrived Quoting: Silvanus "SURPRISE GEOMAGNETIC STORM: A strong G3-class geomagnetic storm is in progress on Aug. 26th as Earth passes through the wake of a CME that arrived with little fanfare approximately 24 hours ago. Strong magnetic fields in the CME's wake have opened a crack in Earth's magnetosphere, allowing solar wind to enter. So far auroras have been sighted in Scandinavia, Canada, and northern-tier US states such as Michigan and New York." [link to www.spaceweather.com] GOES magnetometer is showing decent activity: [link to www.solarham.net] New sunspot AR2720 is not only large, but its polarity is reversed: "REVERSE POLARITY SUNSPOT: New sunspot AR2720 is not only large, but also strange. Its magnetic polarity is reversed. The North and South ends of its enormous magnetic field are backwards compared to the norm for sunspots in the current solar cycle, decaying Solar Cycle 24. Could AR2720 be the first big sunspot of the next solar cycle, Solar Cycle 25, popping up now in the middle of solar minimum? Stay tuned for more information about this intriguing possibility after the current geomagnetic storm is over. Read on...." Papua New Guinea volcano erupts, sending villagers fleeing Manam Island is home to one of the Pacific nation’s most active volcanoes. Around 2000 of the island’s 9000 population had to be evacuated to safer ground in the early hours of Saturday. The observatory’s principal geodetic surveyor, Steve Saunders, said that although the initial phase of the eruption was over, a new vent opening indicated that further volcanic activities were expected. Not sure if you follow Diamond's updates, but some interesting GSM events occurring currently: - Snow in UK and Saudi Arabia - Flooded crops - famine looming - "Hunger Stones" dated 1616 discovered in Elbe River describing famine during the Maunder Minimum - Manam volcano eruption - ash plume reaches the stratosphere (50K foot range) - think Mount Tambora eruption (1815) which resulted in the year without a summer (1816). “And he brought them out and said, 'Sirs, what must I do to be saved?' So they said, 'Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.'" Acts 16:30-31 |

Thanks, I will check that out. Did you noticed Dutch went back to youtube once that big Fiji quake hit? I haven't check in recent days so I don't know if he's continued to post his vids on there, but he posted a handful after that quake. As I said, he always goes back. |

Simple27 (OP) User ID: 76580724 United States 08/26/2018 03:41 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Good morning all !!! Quoting: Arnie ISIS: glad you're on the road to recovery SIMPLE: you're doing it right,,,starting to feel better, go girl ! CURIOUS: celebrate your anniversary ! WHITE ANGEL: praying for your asthma, please get better. Weather in the 90's next few days (sigh). I have resorted to putting silk flowers in the plant hangers and potted flowers, as I remove those who have not made it in this awful weather this year. Couple times a year I get into this Kindle game Jewels, and can't stop, trying to get to arcade level six, where they have it fixed, you get to the end and have one move left with one jewel still there. I know when to stop with this shit, when I'm playing the stupid game all night long in a dream, and playing it on the bed sheet. The kids tried to bring this up once, and I told them where to put their f'n intervention over an old lady's video game, and that they're the ones who bought me the pad, and showed me the game to begin with years ago. I have put the kindle away, and gotten back to more mundane domestic chores. But the guy in the game makes me feel good, shouting "INCREDIBLE!", "FANTASTIC!", "UNBELIEVABLE!", while shooting off all kinds of explosions and fireworks. Arcade level 6 will have to wait. You always make me smile! : ) ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

Simple27 (OP) User ID: 76580724 United States 08/26/2018 03:43 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | For the record I just want to say there was a felt event banner for Mayotte when I first pulled up EMSC this morning. Quoting: KickinIt Here's proof, although I couldn't find any comments on twitter about the actual shaking: EMSC @LastQuake #Earthquake (#séisme) possibly felt 1 min ago in #Mamoudzou #Mayotte. [link to www.emsc-csem.org (secure)] As we know the activity in Mayotte seemed to correlate with Hawaii in the recent past. Hawaii has picked up slightly in the past day or so. Nothing major, but assuming there really was a Mayotte quake, I wonder if it's indicative of anything in regards to Hawaii? I saw a banner just a little while ago. Definitely well after the banner you saw. ~*Ride the Wave*~ |
