Well, you know, last week was my week off and I was ready to go to Orlando last Friday, but something happened at the Amsterdam Airport. It was rather embarrassing and it is not something for delicate eyes to read. I will tell it anyway..

I was all dressed as Donald Duck, to get into the Disney mood already and got to the airport security. The officer looked me up and down, checked my passport, looked back and forth and said: "Sir, I need you to step out of that costume to be able to identify you." I nudged him and said: "I can't!" He said with a bit more force in his voice: "Sir! I need you to step out of that costume, now!" I nudged him again and whispered: "This costume is all I am wearing!"

He frowned and nudged his colleague. A yuuuge muscled woman, Serena Williams 2.0, 6ft8, thunder thighs of steel, approached us, while the ground was shaking with every step she took and said in a dark voice: "Okay Mr. Duck, please step aside and raise your arms. This migh cause a bit of inconvenience." I obeyed immediately, gloating: "Yes ma'am. I understand, no problem."

She started to search me and that's when I lost it...

Afterwards, she held a package of cigarettes in front of me, asked me if I smoked, to which I replied: "I don't know, I haven't looked down yet." and gave me her phone number. To be honest, I am still in the twilight zone stage between convincing myself this was a typical #metoo moment and calling her.

Needless to say that my ticket to Disney was withdrawn, because the names didn't match. So we will have to try again, but maybe a theme park isn't the right place to meet up. This way I will never get past airport security, especially with such an experience in mind.
