OMG!!! That's crazy! I see that Thanksgiving is early this year so I imagine we will be bombarded with extra weeks of Xmas Hoopla. I don't really mind. Makes things more festive.

Me too, but I'm in Lackawanna Co. in Pa. Lou Barletta lost and I have no idea how. He carried 3/4 of the counties. The state is one big red blob except for the Philly, and Erie. I don't understand.

Mini just fell down some of the stairs that lead to her bedroom. Her surgery knee bent WAY too much very suddenly and she's in lots of pain. Her knee is all swollen and already bruised. We have ice on it for a few minutes and I gave her some Tylenol. She can't even walk. Gonna go figure this out. :\

Hey 4th! Me too. Couple of these real radicals may wind up in charge of some serious committees where they plan to wreak utter chaos on the President and his agenda. Maxine waters in charge of the finance committee, there's no one more corrupt. Nancy Pelosi, speaker of the House (will probably go for impeachment). They have been bragging about their subpoena power, meaning they are going to weaponize the legal system against a sitting president.

The good news is the Senate still gets to vote on whatever the house floats up (I'm pretty sure I have that correct). So there is some fail-safes. The senate can vote them down (I hope). Its just so sad they have nothing to offer except enriching themselves and obstructing progress.

We also need term limits. Bob Casey got re-elected again in Pa. This is his fourth term now. He carried the Philly area, gee I wonder how many people live there that depend on government handouts? Lou Barletta carried 3/4 of the rest of the counties but still lost. As far as I know Casey has not done anything for the state. Ran on his father's great reputation as a governor. His speech tonight was ridiculous, stumbled through it. Nonsense about being a voice for those who have no voice. What does that shit even mean?

Had CBS on in the background. Heard 4-5 snide remarks made about Republican cnadidates and their races. Nothing but respect for Dems, so biased.

Om my gosh, not our little mini! My hearts breaking for her already. Totally hoping its a simple issue that rest and ice will restore her. She's had too rough a year. Prayers up like crazy.

Hi Mattie. Republicans have kept the senate. The race for control of the House of Representatives is neck and neck with 109 seats to go. The MSM is already proclaiming the Dems have won it and its simply not true.

Coverage here in Holland is the same as with you Mattie. Most of them wholeheartedly rooting for President Trump to lose, emphasizing his actions as negative. They apparently don't understand or simply ignore the voice of the majority of the people.

Same happens over here. As the traditional politicians do, they silence or ridicule those who dare to speak without political correctness, like they did with Pim Fortuyn in the past and now still do Wilders and Baudet, where in every poll you see them rise and rise, until they do have a majority and are able to make decisions in this multi party system of ours.

As for the Dems winning the House. That doesn't have to mean a bad thing at all. There's positivity in seemingly negative situations. The Dems can now not just sit back anymore and just ridicule every rule or regulation. They have to actively be in the spotlight and take the lead in proposing legislation for example and through that will probably show how powerless and without leadership they really are. Which will benefit President Trump yuuuugely in two years.

Find strength in weakness. I've said it before..
