This man had not been to a doctor in like 20 years and had no health insurance. One of the first things I did when he moved here was make him get health insurance and schedule a physical. Lol, I'm really not a nag (at all), but health is important and I was concerned about a couple of things with him.

He had the physical and they did an EKG which came back abnormal. They referred him to a cardiologist who he saw yesterday. The cardiologist is very concerned. He got scheduled for an echo stress test today, but they had to cancel his appointment because one of the doctor's patients had a heart attack overnight. :\ So he is rescheduled for the test this Friday. The cardiologist thinks he has coronary artery disease and may have had a previous heart attack. Told him straight up that if he doesn't quit smoking NOW, he is going to DIE.

Good grief. Add that to the already overflowing stress plate. Prayers for him would be much appreciated! As well as suggestions on how to help if anyone has experience with this. Google will be my friend for a while today. Had to take care of Mini first.

I told him if he dies I will have to bury him in the backyard because I can't afford a funeral lol. Ya know, making light of a heavy situation. It was a needed chuckle at the time for him.
