I have the local news on, and they were showing the snowfall amounts in different parts of the metro area. The park right next to my house reported 7"! I question if that's right, though. It doesn't look like we have 7" out there from what I can tell. Regardless, I call this a successful storm, and I'm loving it! I can't stop staring out the window. I'm sorta thinking about not doing much work today, and putting up my Xmas tree instead! Hard to believe Thanksgiving is next week, so why not get it up now? I will have to ponder this for a few hours while I enjoy my coffee looking out the window.  ETA: I have power, and have not heard of power outages in the area, thankfully. It is a heavy snow though. It's coming down heavy again now, with big fluffy flakes. Putting up your tree would be a perfect thing to do today!
