Potential for 60 mph wind gusts - think Severe Thunderstorm. 1"-2" per hour snowfall rates. This is a dangerous combination for anyone venturing out this afternoon. Please, now is the time to stay put. #MOwx #KSwx @kmbc

Speaking of "living near a seismic area"...We are about
a football-field's-length distance from the river in our
area that is the MAIN FAULT LINE for N.W. Montana (The
Clark Fork River.) And...as luck would have it I am one
of the MOST energy-sensitive people you'll ever meet
--probably because I am -A Rh factor.

Anyways, we have been seeing quake-swarms in NW Montana
(maybe related to Yellowstone, tho YS is hundreds of
miles to our southeast.) Even into the 4's in some
instances.

Anyways, we've been having all kinds of strange symptoms
including a constant dry cough, the feeling of "buzzing
inside the lower legs/feet" and dizzyness. I've had this
kind of symptom before--but this has lasted at least 1 week
now and it is rather concerning. I'm wondering if we are
going to see a large quake event in our area soon.

Will keep you posted! It would suck to have a quake in
WINTER as we already have 3 inches of snow on the ground.
Sitting on the curb (like we did in 2016) isn't really
an option with our chihuahua! lol!

I will make a prediction. I would say that there is a 70% change of Hekla erupting within the next two weeks. If 2000 repeats as a pattern (a swarm two week before the eruption), then we will be seeing an eruption by the 8th of December.

And a 90% change of an eruption until April 2019.

Remember that once I did a statistical study and realized that Hekla seems to have a preference to erupt in winter and early spring time, between December and May (and especially between January and April).
It’s odd, but also remember that Katla seems to have a preference to erupt between July and October. No other Icelandic volcano has a seasonal preference for their eruptions.

MARK MY PREDICTION: 2019 may well be the year with two Icelandic eruptions, both quite predictable: Hekla, followed by Grimsvotn.

Why Hekla: because I find this November 2018 swarm is a sign that the volcano is about to erupt. Why Grimsvotn? Because cumulative seismic release is so predictable for Grimsvotn.
I will eat my chocolate hat if I am wrong.

I have similar experiences like others described here Sim. My brother, who is now almost 60, has two stents placed around the heart. He was a heavy smoker and has diabetes, so not exactly the spitting image of a healthy person. They did the catheterization and placed the stents.

Technology has advanced so much that it practically has become a mainstream thing. My brother was back home within two days, recovery went swift and it IS a world of difference compared to before. Much more breathing air. What also helps enormously is that he quit smoking. And I know Ryan is trying and quitting as well, so you both try not to worry and go from the positive experiences Sim. It will be alright. It takes some discipline to recover, but after that, health wise there will be a new Ryan. hf

And as for you. Do you know how many vitamins there are in one single banana? No? Well, then I'll just go ask another monkey.. neener I know, lame!

Seriously, all joking aside. Every disadvantage has its advantage. So in that respect what happened last week helped finding out about your potassium level. And even though I know you hate hospitals and all the poking and check ups for so many years already, in your situation it is good that you are checked. I said it before, you are used to run faster than Ben Johnson ran the 100 meters on dope, but sometimes you need to put a brake on it, as frustrating as it is.

You are on the right track with your supplements and changed food pattern, so go from there. Get that potassium level back up and continue with what you are doing sweetheart. Trust yourself, it IS working.

And in the meantime I bought stocks in the banana industry, to see if I can counter the crypto currency mess, but honestly I wouldn't mind to lose money on the banana trade. You not eating bananas anymore, would mean that you laugh again in the face of low potassium levels and yell: "Come at me health!"

My thoughts and prayers are with you and Ryan always. And with Mini of course. It will be alright! hf
 Quoting: InterMezzo

Awe, thank you Mezzo! hugs

Wanna hear something gross/funny? I currently have no bananas in the house so I was looking through the cabinet and reading labels to see which has the most potassium. Come to find out, SpaghettiOs have a pretty good amount of potassium...so I ate them! Ewwww, gross, yuck! But I got some potassium in me. tounge

Still better than the horse pills they prescribed me.

Looks like we've got an Earth, Sun, Jupiter alignment tomorrow.

What's Going On With Jupiter? - Comet 46P/Wirtanen is Fast Approaching Earth

Jupiter will pass very close to the Sun in the sky as its orbit carries it around the far side of the solar system from the Earth.

At closest approach, Jupiter will appear at a separation of only 0°39' from the Sun, making it totally unobservable for several weeks while it is lost in the Sun's glare.

Human eyes can't see it, but coronagraphs onboard the Solar Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO) can. Jupiter will be a bright obect in daily SOHO LASCO C2 & C3 coronagraph images, moving from left to right from approximately 26 of Nov. up to 6 of Dec. 2018.

SOHO is able to track Jupiter as it passes by the Sun transitioning from an evening 'star' to a morning 'star.'

Here comes the cold weather....

Dangerous travel conditions will continue today with the significant winter storm in the Midwest. Embedded snowfall totals to around a foot are likely, and the chances have continued to increase from previous forecasts, particularly in southeast Iowa and northern Illinois.
