Interesting. Sorry the original experiment was a fail. That link/image you posted about it had a comment that cracked me up, wondering WTF was in mountain dew. I guess the upside is that the glow has nothing to do with The Dew itself other than giving it the color.

I watched it 2 more times a few min. ago. I had tears! That guy in the blue is the best because once that horse got to the back I think he thought he had a free second to regroup before his next move, but in that split second that horse was on his ASS! He ran outta there like the roadrunner.

Omg, after seeing that banner I spent like an hour or so (while I work which I very rarely do) trying to find a site for Mayotte earthquakes. FFS, it's not an easy find. The closest I found wasn't even worth sharing.

"Walls shook for 3 seconds at 3 a.m. and then two more tremors about a half hour apart. You could see walls move shake and the floor shake," one person reported to the site from Glenwood Springs regarding the later quake.

The area north of Glenwood Springs does not have any natural gas wells. And, the quarry activity is not deep enough to trigger any seismic activity, he said.

The test bores that are being drilled are only up to 200 feet deep, where the quake epicenter was more than 3 miles beneath the earth's surface.

I know it's a couple of weeks out, but some may want this heads up, just in case...

Nearby Volcano

There's a dormant volcano just north of Dotsero — the remains of the lava flow can be seen on either side of Interstate 70 in the area. Scientists believe the Dotsero volcano last erupted roughly 4,150 years ago. Morgan wrote that long-ago eruption was "pretty small" compared to most volcanos. And, he added, the magma chamber beneath the volcano is no longer active.

Damn Walmart!

We decided to try a 1500 piece puzzle, so we go to the store and hunt around. After finding one we like, we take it to the checkout to scan it and ... "Not Found".. So we get an 'associate' to help. She goes and grabs a few more of the same brand and size puzzles..."Not Found"

Apparently, they didn't add ANY of the puzzles they had on the shelf to their inventory and, therefore, couldn't sell them.

*mutters*
