Seems to be a ton of shallow and negative depth quakes today.

Washington just got a 1.9 at -0.5km. Hawaii has had quite a few negatives too.

But then there have been a couple REALLY deep ones too

Hawaii's had a lot of negative depth quakes recently, and they are located on top of Mauna Loa. I am continuing to watch!

My guess would be that when the CIA made the decision to classify it, it got pulled from anywhere that had copies to sell to the public (the original 60's edition). It didn't last long once publicized in 1965 to being classified in 1966.

I'd love to get my hands on an original edition. I'd read it in one day/night.

Those few who managed to get it before it was classified can sell copies for big bucks.

There's an Australian online library that appears to have a copy of the original that you can download for free by providing your full legal name and email address, and agreeing to use the download for research/study purposes only. Here's the link. [link to soilandhealth.org]
