The hospital was supposed to call him on Monday to schedule the CT scan. Here we are, and still no call. I emailed his surgeon this afternoon to let him know that no one has contacted him yet and he replied saying that his secretary was looking into it.



Honestly, I'm less than impressed with the nothingness that has taken place since his catheterization. The catheterization was on 11/26. After which it took some time to be contacted to schedule his consultation with this cardiothoracic surgeon. Consultation was scheduled initially for 12/11 but they had to reschedule for 12/14 at noon. Around 9:30am on 12/14 they called to reschedule to 1:00pm. Screwing up his work schedule. Again. We drive all the way out there to be told everything we were already told, with the addition of him needing a CT scan to make sure there's even anything to bypass to. Like wtf?! The CT scan should've been scheduled and done before we even went to this 12/14 consultation! So the doc says the hospital would call him on Monday (this past Monday) to schedule the CT scan and further delay this entire thing. Here we are at 10:35pm on Wednesday and no one has called to schedule a thing.

I already had my own personal reasons for being disgusted with doctors/policies/healthcare/etc. and now this. I also have some concerns after seeing some of my daughter's recent blood work. I don't trust doctors for the most part. Not to ever truly help me. I'm just another patient # to them. They don't listen and they don't give a shit has been my experience the majority of the time. And that's one thing. I won't sit back so quietly when it involves my family. A few doctors are currently on my shit list. For good reason.
