So the woman I like from my last work place and I are still good friends and text at least a few times a week. Anyway. Or so I thought.

So she just HAS to tell me that their relationship is now official with "paperwork". You know...not exactly marriage but like that. I should mention that we are long-time friends and I have stressed that. Even when she suspected I liked her I didn't let on and don't plan to either. She's a good friend and a good work-related contact and I don't want to disturb that relationship. As much as it would make my life in terms of making me happy it would probably backfire if I ever made any moves anyway while she is single. But, she's never single and has always had that relationship.

Besides, I don't want to be THAT guy.

Anyway. Why the fuck can't anyone choose me for once? Oh. Right. I have two disabilities. Fuck wanting anything to do with me anyway.

This week was already shitty as it is and this just made it even worse.

I really don't care about much at this point except sleep.

I don't even know why the fuck I bother with life anymore anyway.

I've gotta get this damned article done but I don't even want to do that. I need to sleep for a while.

SOLAR WIND IGNITES BIG AURORAS: Earth is entering a stream of solar wind flowing from a large hole in the sun's atmosphere. First contact on Jan. 4th ignited big auroras around the Arctic Circle.

"The auroras were really crazy, painting swirls all around the sky above me," says Kuznetsov. "The show lasted for well over 30 minutes with very powerful arches shining across the skies. These were the best auroras I've seen in months!"

G1-class geomagnetic storms are in progress as Earth moves deeper into the stream on Jan. 5th. Arctic sky watchers should remain alert for auroras for the rest of the weekend. This stream of solar wind is wide and should influence our planet for the next ~48 hours.

....the fall of Rome had much to do with the barbarian invasions; and also, the devolution of societal morals / political corruption, and of course the steady destruction of the currency by mixing worthless metals in with the gold and silver coins, and by shaving the edges to make smaller coins...(causing inflation). The people angered by this insisted that they mint "ridges" in the coin edges to prevent shaving.
LOL........our worthless dime and quarter coins still have ridges on the edges, as if these metals had any value at all.........
