Hi folks! Popping in to say hi! Just got a cute love note from InterMezzo in the karma section. He said even though I'm married to Twitter now he still misses me! He is too funny. I did say awhile back I felt like I was having an affair on Glp by reading Twitter more!! I still love it here though. Nothing like this place. Hope everyone is relatively happy and content. It is the month of LOVE vibes so there's that.

Also, this morning my laptop which I thought magically healed itself is now telling me with robo voice that I have bad virus that is sending my info to bad places!!! Gives a Microsoft number to call to have technician remove it. I called the number, guy from India says he's going to have to access my computer remotely and that there is going to be a charge. I said no thanks, turned the computer off and will take it in to local repair tech guy Monday.

It seemed like a scam, looked somewhat official (Microsoft) but mispellings and incorrect grammar in the notice and instructions gave me bad mojo feeling.

Has anyone ever encountered this type of situation?

Been missing your commentary on here. Definitely a scam on the computer thing, which I see Simple already mentioned. Good thing you hung up, and hopefully Simple's suggestion might get rid of any viruses. If not, I let's hope it's not an expensive fix.

Hi!! Nice hug, thanks!! Yeah, I hope its OK. Glad to see everyone. I've been busy with my Poshmark resale side hustle too. Learned how to post listing on Instagram. I see people with daily sales and its inspiring me to figure out the algorithms so as to boost sales. Resale has become a multi-billion dollar industry.

Pro Tip: Legitimate Microsoft will NEVER EVER call you or otherwise access your computer and pop up a window to tell you to pay somebody. Always say no. Always ctrl + shift + w close all tabs in the window and the window at the same time without clicking ANYTHING.

And if that doesn't work, ctrl + alt + delete for task manager so you can click through to quickly and easily end your browsing session task.

Do not EVER click on anything within the window if you get a pop up like that again. It is always a scam. It is called RansomWare, and is a lot more common than you may think. The goal is to hold your computer hostage in hopes that you will call them and pay them, and they will then unlock your computer, but will have all of your private information for them to use for identity theft, credit card theft, password theft, whatever.

Well, so much for my prophecy skills. I won't give up my day job just yet.
