My manager told me i was needed to work at a separate store, an hour away, for the next 2 weeks. One that i worked at before when i actually tried to care about the job.... ( aint gonna happen ) Pretty sure i just burned any last bridge i had with this shit company. I might be living in Florida next month. Good news at least, i already have a job down there. I can start at the amphitheater any time. Life is so fucking weird. And unpredictable. You keep thinking you're burning a bridge there, yet they keep you on! You're doing a good job and they don't want to lose you. Which SHOULD motivation to give you a raise, but obviously they won't do that unless they see you literally walking out the door to quit. It's a shame, and it's their loss if you leave. I don't know why companies don't understand that you need to pay people fairly and treat them decently to keep them around. Whatever you end up doing, you have my support! I think you'll be fine either way, the question is what is the better place where you might thrive and I know that's a hard call to make. |
