I miss my moms old Cockatiel i grew up with. What a loving, affectionate creature.. Every day when i walked in the house, back from school, it'd fly across the kitchen, down the hallway and land right on my shoulder - proceeding to whistle the looney tunes theme song in excitement to see me lol :birdritual: MoN - sounds like a great bird to meeeee. I love cockatiels!! However, I have two Amazon yellow-headed parrots! Every time there is an earthquake, one of them will cock his head and eye the ground, because he's sensed that there has been movement. As if he is wondering "WTF was that!" That's exactly what he was doing last night. Which makes me wonder. By the way -- still nothing on the earthquake sites. Yellow headed parrots are really cool birds too! All birds ( and most creatures ) have a sixth sense when it comes to quakes and such. We have a lot to learn from our fellow earth inhabitants |
