Today is just one of many things I see that just make me want to be Elijah and find a cave. There was this young man of color checking out and a old woman shoved her basket into his leg and starting putting her stuff on counter before he checked out , my heart hurt.



That is one small thing I saw ,can you imagine what God hears about in one hour on this vile planet anyone else or am I just getting old?

I'm with ya Goofy. The world has become an uglier place, everyone has less and less regard for others around them. On top of that I find I get increasingly impatient as I get older, and have less tolerance for people in general. Someone started a thread on that exact subject in the last few days, and I totally related to his original post.

I will most definitely try to watch. I like the way they play hockey in the States. It's much more physical and the interaction with the audience is amazing. Like with most American sports. Truly exciting to watch.

I honestly see the Blues winning this. Last nights game was theirs for sure based on field play and shots. the Bruins just have a hell of a goalie.

Also trying to watch the NBA finals. They broadcast that live as well these days.

You're not getting old. Society is more and more on edge nowadays. More individual, more me, me, me. Besides that there have always been nasty people too.

Not sure how it works in other states, but up here when you get your license you're a junior operator for the first 6 months and can't drive with anyone under 18 years old in your vehicle. Unless you're 18 years old yourself. Naturally Mini wants to go joy ride with her friend (friend is only 15 or 16 years old) and I'm the villain who won't let her break the law lol.

Should I just let her? I mean, she's a good driver and all of these new driving/license laws up here are bs. Wasn't like this when I got my license.

Yes, the Bruins clearly have excellent defense. We should've had a lot more goals last night, especially that 2nd period. I don't know if you saw, but some days ago (I think right before the finals began) I posted all the weird things that have happened with the Blues this season. I posted a few, but there are many others. So many oddities it feels like a team of destiny. I believe, and this town believes.
Truly the most confidence I've ever seen this city have for the Blues. Yet at the same time we're all quietly scared out of our gourd and anxious as hell, because we are so used to the Blues blowing it and losing. That's all most of us have known in our lifetimes. If we win this, there will be a lot of tears shed in this town. Grown men are going to be bawling in the streets, I'm tellin' ya.

It's funny! The judges sit around smoking the best of the best weed and then judge food that been infused with THC. A good amount of it too! They get so baked haha! I want THAT job! And the food itself always looks great. It's a cool show.

I honestly would not take that risk Sim. When something happens, even if it is not her fault, you will be the one held responsible. Same if she gets pulled over for whatever reason. Six months will be gone fast. Better be safe than sorry. Just my two cents.

when you get to bemy age, you're pretty much done with all the bs and boring / pretentious people. I have made myself VERY SCARCE, quit with very many people, and kept juzt 3 or 4 friends that pretty much leave me the f#k alone. Its not just age, many younger people are
feeling the same way .
Being with a gathering of people is, to me, very stressful and exhausting,,I am not socially inept,,just tired of the hassle.
I am very happy to be alone, except with my kids.
TIME is speeding up, and I fi d it hard keeping up with my own affairs and chores, and can no longer tolerate the "push" that people impose on me to do this or that...
and oh so shallow and BORING,,

I purposely avoid the general public for many reasons. It's a sad world out there and I can't stand being around that energy. It truly bothers me deeply. Some people really are assholes. :\

Also, I recently read an article about why time feels like it goes so fast as you get older. I always chalked it up to bein an "older person thing", but they said that the younger a person is, the more their brain has to process in a day, and therefore time feels slower (more effort). However, as we age we don't need to process as much, so time flies by. Made sense to me.
