I watched the replay this morning, without knowing the outcome.) Great game Blues! I used to watch the World Cup hockey all the time back when it was broadcast on the open net or a sports channel, but they hardly give coverage of it anymore these days. At least another two games coming up. And as much as I like Baaastun, this one is for Kickin' GO BLUES! That's cool you got to watch! I'm very surprised they show it over there. Everyone is super pumped up here. Fireworks were set off in my neighborhood after last night's game. I can only imagine if we win the cup how insane it will be here. This is foreign territory for us - we are so used to the Blues blowing it, we won't know how to act if we win this thing. I will most definitely try to watch. I like the way they play hockey in the States. It's much more physical and the interaction with the audience is amazing. Like with most American sports. Truly exciting to watch. I honestly see the Blues winning this. Last nights game was theirs for sure based on field play and shots. the Bruins just have a hell of a goalie. Also trying to watch the NBA finals. They broadcast that live as well these days. |

Society is more and more on edge nowadays. More individual, more me, me, me. Besides that there have always been nasty people too. I remember this conversation in the train between a drunk guy and an older lady. They guy said: "Wow! You are ugly!" And she said: "Well, you are drunk." And he replied: "Yeah, but thát will be over in the morning." Just don't you go hiding in a cave. We need beautiful souls like you to try and keep the balance going in the right direction. Competition. It gets rough as we all know. I hope they all stay safe (no major injuries)! A guy got a puck in the face, two different guys got hit in the face with the hockey sticks, and people were constantly getting crushed into the boards! It's worse than football!!!! I know, right?!? It's like freaking rugby out there! The guy who got a puck to the face might be hurt pretty badly. They were talking about it on the radio on my way to work, and at the time it was all speculation, but they thought he might have a significant injury. I haven't heard an update since. Hockey is a rough game to begin with, but by the time they get all this way to the finals after a long season, I guess they have no option but go balls to the wall and give it everything they have. And you can tell by watching, too. Very physical and my god, everything is going so incredibly fast just the pace of it stresses me out! I would not be at all surprised to see this series go to 7 games. I think his jaw is broken ~*Ride the Wave*~ |

Also, I recently read an article about why time feels like it goes so fast as you get older. I always chalked it up to bein an "older person thing", but they said that the younger a person is, the more their brain has to process in a day, and therefore time feels slower (more effort). However, as we age we don't need to process as much, so time flies by. Made sense to me. |
