I thought the same about the bad call, but during the broadcast they acknowledged that but said that it wouldn't be called because the Blues had the puck in the offensive zone when it happened. I'm not that knowledgeable about super specific rules like that, so I went with it. But then today I see everyone's in an uproar about it so I don't know if it should've been a penalty or not. Why would they say that during a national broadcast?

Regardless of that, this whole playoff season has seen horrific refereeing. I've seen it in each series we've been, and it's gone both in our favor and against us. It's infuriating, but is somewhat a part of the game I suppose, since refs are humans and can make mistakes. I like to think/hope these kind of errors all even out for everyone in the long run. For example, in an earlier game the Blues got screwed when the refs allowed a Bruins goal, even though they had an extra player on the ice at the time (was not a power play). And the Blues got screwed when there was a no-call during our series with Dallas when they made a hand pass - that call literally lost us that game. No maybes about it, it ended the game and Dallas went up in the series.

I have no answers, just pointing out the refereeing definitely sucks, and has consistently from what I can see from these playoffs. NFL sucks equally bad. I wish they'd all get their act together.
