A Magnitude-6.8 earthquake has hit off the coast of Yamagata Prefecture in northern Japan. Tsunami advisories are in place along coastal areas of Yamagata, Niigata and Ishikawa prefectures.
Quoting: Luisport ..hope this is not a foreshock we're at a full moon also plus some planetary line up we saw the other day..  I worried about a foreshock too as soon as I saw it. The activity has really ramped up all over the place today, it seems. I fear a big one is coming (again). At this point I worry for many locations, not just Japan.
