I heard this being explained on the news earlier. They said the earthquake didn't meet the parameters set up for the app. I guess it's based on location and today's EQ was too far, and also that the EQ has to be an intensity of a 4 in LA. Today's was a 3. So the app didn't alert because it wasn't designed to for today's EQ.

America cannot support the entire world. Genocide? We aren't killing these people.
My issue is they are pouring across the border illegally and not wanted. They are bused into small towns that can't support them and were not asked to have them there. They then commit crimes against the people there. Have read about several small towns that only had 5,000 people. Then the buses arrived and now are 15,000 people. There wasn't housing for them so they are sleeping on the streets. The Sheriff came in, rounded all of them up and told ICE to come get them.

Of course the above sounds horrible to the illegals - but what about the small town folks who were basically raped of all their hard work? These illegals and so called sanctuary people, are ruining and changing the face of the USA.

That is actually genocide against AMERICAN CITIZENS. It is killing us.

I wonder if anyone followed the Yellowstone geysers activity after the quakes in CA. Right now it is almost dead there on the Old Faithful feed.

Also this is typical of aftershocks, shallow that is.

Like Simp said, shallow is more damage. Think 1 km vs 10 km depth = house falling down or a cracked window.

This page is interesting. I've posted it here before, but it's been a while. They totally changed their site, and for long while it was down altogether so I kinda forgot about it for a while because I didn't think it was coming back. Just recently re-found it and have tried to check it somewhat regularly to see if this Rp/LPR level business was coinciding with EQ activity. I've caught a few correlations, but today this CA quake was the proof.

Go to the link and read the Rp/LPR explanation in the 2 boxes at the top. Then page down. They post updated numbers as the day goes along. Page down to around the time of the Cali quake (17:33 UTC) and just before it. The Rp level totally dropped to an extent which I've never seen before.

It returned to more normal levels gradually after the quake, but now I see it's starting to drop again. Every time I check it's lower, and the local (LPR) reading is now elevated.

It will make more sense when you go to the link and read how it works. You don't have to understand it all anyway (I don't) - you just need to look at the numbers.

EDIT TO ADD: By "local" I mean on the New Madrid. This site is based in Arkansas so any local LPR readings means in this region. Also, since I posted this the Rp level has increased a bit, so hopefully this is a good thing.

But, that’s just it.......the actions don’t have to result in killing......it’s performing them in whole or in part that is defined as genocide......

And America is no longer small town America.

We could spend $90 billion dollars on those facilities and give them decent care and set up a kinder, better system.

Instead $90 billion dollars is going to the self aggrandizement and ego stroking parade of a dictator-in-chief who is friends with and worships Kim Jong-Un and Putin, and undermines the trust of our worldwide allies.

Instead that money could go towards immigration reform and creating a better process that doesn’t end in genocide or destroying people.
