So the M6.4 was a foreshock. This was a M7.1 on the same fault as has been producing the Searles Valley sequence. This is part of the same sequence [ link to twitter.com (secure)] Quoting: KickinIt Or both of them are foreshocks. Remember what happened with Japan??Ugh, this came to my mind as well!   Now I have to look at USGS before the Japan quake..... lol I guess everyone else is doing the same because it won't let me search the Japan quake.
