Anyone's pets/dogs acting weird??

My male is being quite the asshole.. Not listening, overly protective, getting into things that have never been a problem before... Almost took my eye out being overly excited about a stick.... Whipped it in my face

Female is skittish, doesn't want to be outside. She is sensitive to fireworks and stuff but I haven't heard any at all tonight...

Also not very many bugs...I would def expect more. I've been having a bonfire for the last few hours...
