My mom, who was very down to earth and not one to just make up stories had a few of those experiences with a dear friend that passed. She was sitting in her chair and saw a shadow on the couch of a tall person (just like her friend.) And when mom stared at it, even though scared as hell, that shadow stood up and disappeared. Another time, when she was washing herself, she saw a shadow passing behind her with a suitcase. A day later mom had heart failure and was admitted to the hospital. One more.. my grandmother, on her death bed, very ill and hardly conscious, just before she passed, she grabbed my mom's hand, raised up and said in a clear voice: "Yes, I will be right there!" A few moments later she was gone...  Wow Mezzo, thanks for sharing! It's incredible really. One of the many things that fascinates me. : ) There's probably a handful of women in my family who have these types of experiences. Sometimes a lot more intense than my story from the other night. My mom, my mom's two sisters, my mom's cousin (also female) and myself have all had multiple experiences. I'd be willing to bet that my grandmother (my mom's mother) also has, but she's never told me about any.
