As of right now we are in the very center of the cone here in Florida. I have a feeling it'll go more north to S.C. but that's just a gut feeling. I kinda want to experience one but i should be careful wishing for that!

Have an interview on Monday with a grocery store, "publix". Going to try to unload and stock the shelves during the night for a few extra bucks. Unless a hurricane comes and the publix no longer has a foundation lol.. That'd be my luck, watch. hahaha

...FLASH FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM EDT THIS AFTERNOON THROUGH LATE TONIGHT...

The National Weather Service in Boston/Norton has issued a

* Flash Flood Watch for central and eastern Massachusetts including Cape Cod and the Islands, as well as all of Rhode Island.

* From this afternoon into early Thursday morning.

* Bands of showers with pockets of torrential rainfall will overspread the region from south to north this afternoon and continue at times through tonight. Rainfall amounts will vary considerably across the region, but a general 1 to 3 inches are expected. Localized pockets of 4 to 5 inch amounts are possible over a short period of time, where bands of torrential rainfall are persistent.

* The heavy rain will bring the potential for localized flash flooding. Significant urban flash flooding is also possible if
heavy rainfall trains over a vulnerable urban center.

It's super embarrassing. For instance, just yesterday I was sitting in my office without the a/c on (which is insane for me lol) and I was actually pretty comfortable as far as my overall body temperature even though it was a bit warm in there. But even though it was a bit warm, my hands were ice. Sometimes I have to put my hands under my bum and sit on them to warm them up for a minute, but I can't for very long because I need my hands to type at work so the coldness immediately comes back.

Back to the point of this long-winded story... A client that I've been working with for an event tomorrow decided to stop by our office to meet me in person. Ugh! Totally unannounced too, so I didn't even have a chance to do the whole warm-hands-under-the-bum thing before he just strolled on in. Of course I had to shake his hand as it was our first time meeting in person and I was so horrified that I actually warned him that my hand was freezing and apologized before shaking his hand. He was a sweet, older man and he said 'well my hands are warm so it will warm yours up' haha! But I warn people first now because I've had numerous people shake my hand and immediately say 'omg your hand is freezing!'.

It happens to my feet too! During the summer if I have sandals/flip flops on and I'm inside with the a/c on, my feet will get freezing and start turning purple.

Yet my face is super warm most of the time. It's so hard trying to control my body temperature. But it is what it is. I just do what I can to try to keep it under control as best as possible. : )
