They are the "responsible" older kids, and I'm the "baby". Kickin, you're the baby of the huge age gap with your siblings, and I'm the elder of the exact same age differences (8-10 years) with my sisters lol!! The pain is everywhere bigD. Literally. Rheumatologist diagnosed fibromyalgia a few months ago. In hindsight I really don't know why this wasn't suggested sooner. It totally explains the myriad of symptoms that I experience and have experienced now for 4-5 years. It covers everything aside from my high hemoglobin/hematocrit blood levels, unless that is even somehow related. Which is possible I would imagine, but this 'avenue' is so recent that I haven't even begun to scratch the surface of the research that I need to do. For the first time in the many years that I have 'conditioned' myself to deal with the daily pain (and extreme fatigue among many other terrible symptoms), it physically brought me down Wednesday night. The pain got so bad in my entire body, but legs specifically at the time, that I could no longer walk. No exaggeration sadly. I was downstairs taking care of my plants and from one moment to the next the pain went from 100 to 1,000,000. I couldn't walk and just broke down into tears. Nef had to help me make it back upstairs and to the couch. This has scared the shit out of me bigD. The pain is always there, but the severity lately isn't subsiding and at times (like Wednesday especially) is unbearable. :( I have 2 friends who's symptoms are this bad. I feel so bad & helpless because I'd like to help them feel better. I will be praying for specific relief for you. It's too scary for someone as young as you to face a lifetime of this kind of pain. Cognitive issues are becoming a real problem too, which doesn't help. This is really nuts :( Don't let that last issue scare you too bad. My dear friend Patty has often complained that she feels like her brain is quitting on her, but it really seems to be the effect of the chronic and unrelenting pain. When the 'spell' winds down a bit, she can actually feel the difference coming because her thinking and memory clear up. Why it has that effect, the doctors can't tell her. But she has days where she just lays on her couch and sleeps because it's the only way she can tolerate the pain. I'm so very sorry to hear that you are feeling the same. And the really sucky part is that our pitchers for both games in this series did a stand up job, but we just had no bat. The guy who pitched today is retiring after this season and has pitched his ass off his last 2 games - both time we couldn't get hits. There is little to no chance we come back from this. I don't think it's ever been done. I will keep a little bit of hope, but I'm not expecting much. Rooting for the Astros along with you, so best wishes there. And you definitely should get tickets for one of the series games! I'm sure they are already selling them now. If they wouldn't make the series you will get refunded.
