Omg, lmao!!! You couldn't pay me to drink Everclear!! That bottle in the pic is 190 proof and 95% alcohol! I needed a food grade, high alcohol content liquor to make the tincture. That is the ONLY reason that stuff is even in my home lol. I read it was the best to use for making tinctures. : )

The tincture is the magic and can be used to make all sorts of different edibles, oils, etc. The dispensaries around here are super expensive with the taxes. A small 1oz tincture bottle is around $50 I believe. Which is a tiny amount and a rip off so I made my own and have SO much lol! I actually ordered a set of 2oz tincture bottles from Amazon so I can store all of it properly. It's SO easy to make and you can make as much, or as little, as you want/can based on the amount of flower you have.

All you do is decarboxylate your weed/flower after grinding it up pretty good. To decarboxylate you simply put the weed on a baking sheet (I lined with foil) and stick in the pre-heated oven (220 degrees) for about 30 minutes.

***HUGE helpful tip for grinding your weed*** Use an electric coffee grinder!! Huge time saver!

Anyway back to the oven lol. You're done with it. Take your weed out and it is now officially activated. Prepare for your house to STINK during that cook time haha!!

Put the weed into a mason jar and pour enough Everclear into the jar to cover the weed completely. Seal her up and shake vigorously! Now, the longer this sits this way, the more potent your tincture will become. You can let it sit for weeks/months if you'd like. Or you can use immediately. I only used very little of it immediately for the gummies. When ready to use you just filter through a cheese cloth into a new mason jar and you're ready to go. : )
