Had to use 2 emoticons. That made me laugh out loud, while anxiously holding my breath hoping to god those stairs didn't kill them.

My phone conversations with my sister are like that too! She's not negative or full of drama though, just talks a hell of a lot. I'll be on the phone with her for 45 minutes, and after I hear her talk for 43 of those minutes I no longer feel like being on the phone so when she asks me what's going on I say, "Oh, nothing really" and then we part.

Thanks Mezzo! My appointment took an unexpected turn. My blood pressure upon arrival was crazy high (175/120!). My doctor has ordered an immediate medically necessary leave of absence from work for 30 days. I go back to work on Monday, December 2nd.

I'm so afraid about this overall. Praying I don't lose my job. They aren't required to pay me during this leave unfortunately and 4 weeks without my pay will hit this family hard. But, me having a stroke and/or dying would be far more detrimental to my family.

I'm hoping this little break will help me pull myself together. Lots of rest and no excuse to not start my celery juice again (a natural blood pressure reducer)!

I have to see my doctor again on Wednesday for the results of the blood work she did today. She's testing for inflammation which I already know is elevated based on my results from my rheumatologist in May. Should be interesting to see those inflammation levels now, five and a half months later. I'm so hurting my friend.

I have to pull through and keep my word on going to SCREEEMFEST tomorrow night with Mini, her boyfriend and Nef. I know it's going to be difficult to walk around the park all night, but it will also be fun and I just LOVE this Halloween stuff! [link to www.canobie.com (secure)]

Haha!!!! I honestly never even heard of Everclear prior to looking up ways to make tinctures at home. : )

It's actually banned in a bunch of states here in the US still. For good reason! I was shocked it was available here in MA.

Simple, that's so scary about your blood pressure. I agree, this break will be good for you and I know you will stay focused on yourself and your health. I bet it will make a difference. The lack of income will be tough, but you always get yourself through tough situations so I'm sure it will work out fine. Try not to worry about that, you have Nef to help, and just allow yourself to focus on your wellbeing.



ETA: P.S., Srcreemfest sounds awesome! Please take care though, I do worry about you being on your feet all night. Take breaks and sit down in small spurts. Maybe take a few extra gummies :)
