is it snowing on Boston yet?
 Quoting: Pooch

Not yet, but we should be getting some tomorrow! I'm kind of excited. : )

Have you gotten any?

5 inches..I'm not going out there
 Quoting: Pooch

Wow!! Glad you don't have to go out. That certainly makes it much more enjoyable.

I don't think we'll see any accumulation tomorrow. The ground isn't cold enough here yet, but it will be pretty to watch it fall.

Same here! Lots of trees still have plenty of leaves here. The maple in my back yard is still mostly green. But we had a hard freeze recently and a cold stretch, so that caused more leaves to start to fall, ready or not.

So far, this is a lot like last November but the snow started earlier this year!

Well a long story short...

My dad turned 98 on October 23 last month.
Last Tuesday my dad and I went to Costco and his heart started racing as we walked accros the store. After an over night in the hospital ER and a stress test on Friday. My dad just got out of the angiogram room at the heart hospital.
One stent was inserted through his right wrist. Getting lunch now.
No right arm wrist movement for three days.
Everything is good.😃

Even weirder is this (taken from the thread on this topic):

 Quoting: Lance Roseman From BC

From that article above:

On the morning of November 11, just before 9:30 UT, a mysterious rumble rolled around the world.

The seismic waves began roughly 15 miles off the shores of Mayotte, a French island sandwiched between Africa and the northern tip of Madagascar. The waves buzzed across Africa, ringing sensors in Zambia, Kenya, and Ethiopia. They traversed vast oceans, humming across Chile, New Zealand, Canada, and even Hawaii nearly 11,000 miles away.

What's interesting to add to this is the increase in Hawaii and Mayotte quakes in past weeks. And today we had the 4.9 in Hawaii, so I expect to see Mayotte respond. Not sure what it all means or if it's connected, but interesting nonetheless.
