264 years ago, the 1755 Cape Ann #earthquake rattled the early settlements of #New #England around #Boston, #United #States.
Today it would be felt beyond #NewYork and may cause significant damage along the New England coasts. But, a #tsunami wouldn't be expected. [ link to twitter.com (secure)] Quoting: KickinIt Scary! If one large enough to cause a good size tsunami were to strike there, I'd have very limited time and options.
