One confirmed fatality and likely more on White Island. Just now in Police announcement.

Was thought to be 100 or more on The Island but now been reduced to 50. There was also an interview from a Skydiver who jumped about 30 seconds before eruption. . What a sight for the skydiver  And completely horrifying for those trapped. I reckon. Was a tandem jump with Japanese tourist.  Sounds like most were tourists, a cruise ship visiting the Mainland is missing several passengers and a crew member. Terrible event that is still unfolding.  .
