A thought...what If it’s not receding because of potential tsunami but because the land itself is rising?

I did look to see if there was any sort of tsunami warning or advisory, but there is not.

@STLFireDept crews “double checking” to be sure but looks like the “fire” that was called in at the top of the @GatewayArchSTL was actually fast moving fog over the blinking red light.

Weird weather day here. Was foggy all morning and afternoon. Still warm - mid 50s, but the temps have been rising all night and just now we've hit the high for today - 62! It's been raining this evening, but a cold front is coming through in a few hours and we are supposed to get severe storms. They're talking about a strong wind shear with this, although I think the worst of it will hit south of STL. Take a look, the storm is like a long, skinny snake and it goes all the way down into TX.
