So my daughter's boyfriend came over to do some work for me around the house that I can't do (I'm no longer safe on a roof). While he was here, he asked permission from me to ask my daughter to marry him.

I was impressed...I didn't think that folks in their lower 20s did that anymore.

I said yes.
