Yes, his method appears to be valid for sure. It doesn't lend itself as well to determining location, but I noticed lately he's dabbling in that as well. I also appreciate his no-drama, succinct approach.

What's interesting to me is the one going off near NY! And look at how different the water column height graph is between the three. The graph for the buoy mentioned above is particularly interesting if you compare it to the other two.

There was a pretty big quake I think right around this area in the last year or two. It was listed as being in the Jamaica region, and I'm not sure about this either but I believe it was mid-upper 6 mag. The reason I remember it is because my coworker was on a cruise at the time in Jamaica and I was worried about her. She had no idea it even happened until I told her, lol.

ETA: I tried to find the quake I'm thinking of, and I couldn't. I know I'm not imagining it due to the circumstances surrounding it, but I must have the time frame wrong. But it was somewhat in that area - I think a bit west of there further away from land.

Well, since you're asking, I noticed there's an uptick in activity in Peru today.

5.3 magnitude #earthquake. 135 km from #Ishikawa, Okinawa, #Japan

Well, let's hope that EQ is not a trigger towards Puerto Rico again, because that could be quite devastating, also in tsunami effect with that Trench there.

But I am most likely talking bs, because I don't really know how those triggers work and in what direction.

It is another interesting thing to pay attention too, as if we don't have enough subjects to keep our eyes on yet.

Sorry to hear this about Mandy. She's pulled herself out of it before, she'll do it again. I wish she didn't have to go through it at all, and I know it's hard for you as her mom.

It's so scary for you all, I'm sure. And her! Does she have a therapist she she is comfortable with that she can go to when she feels like this?

She says she is useless. This is how she feels about all of them.

Then she should seek out a better one. I know she probably doesn't feel motivated to do that, but if not now at some point in the future she should look into a different therapist. They aren't all going to be the right match, but there is a match out there for her, and if she can find him/her it could make a world of difference. There's no harm in "shopping" around. The hard part is she likely doesn't want to rehash her history, but it takes some work to get the reward. Keep on her!

ETA: I have a niece who has some issues and she used to say the same thing. This went on all her life and then as she got into her very early 20s and a tad less resistant she chose to try again and actually found someone she connects with.
