Hands cleaned and shoes off. Cells cleaned and anything else that enters the house that was exposed to the outside. Then go in the bathroom and actually wash your hands while singing Happy Birthday TWICE I have a small little space after you enter the main door that's like a tiny foyer. Not a hallway, but a small little area before you open an additional door to come inside. I'm thinking that little area could be used for removing shoes, coats, hats, whatever. Wipe down the hands with some wet wipes and proceed into the house to actually wash hands. I can then go back into where the shoes and coats are and spray them with Lysol. That is, until I fully implement having no one here at all. Which is only gonna be days from now. In England they call those small internal spaces 'vestibules'. As in 'come in out of the vestibule' or I left it in the vestibules'. Thanks sindy! I like that word lol. I will definitely be using it! It sounds fancy.   When I hear that word I think of church. The only time I've ever really heard the word used has always been in regards to a vestibule in a church. It means the same thing that Sindy said, so I'm not sure why the U.S. doesn't use that word in other contexts. I guess because we prefer foyer? Or entryway? Or mud porch? I just now decided I'm going to actively start using the word vestibule whenever possible and see how people react and if it catches on. I shall report back. |
