Definitely a first for me and no one I have asked has heard of such a thing. The alcohol pads only turn blue when I swipe them on my upper cheeks and hips area lol. About a month ago-ish we noticed that the toilet seat had a very slight (but noticeable) purple/blue tint on it in the shape that one's bum and thighs would be while sitting. We were all baffled and Nef and I assumed mini, or maybe her friend who spent the night, used some sort of lotion or self-tanner or something and it transferred to the toilet seat. However it would not wash off! With anything! We never figured out what actually caused it and the color slowly began to fade. Then yesterday morning after I used the bathroom I noticed it was suddenly happening again, but this time even more noticeable. After the next couple of times that I used the bathroom I KNEW it was ME who was causing this! LMAO. So weird. So I mentioned it to Nef and mini, that I think it is me who is causing this. Mini decides to google it and tells me to swipe an alcohol prep pad on my bum cheek to see if any color transfers to the alcohol pad. Sure enough, it did! WTH?! So of course I'm like you both need to do this and see if it happens. Nope! Theirs come out clear and mine looks like it has ink or something on it.  Also, I use an e-cigarette that is normally white. It has turned a gray-ish/purple color since yesterday just from me holding it. I'm literally turning things purple and don't know what the heck to make of it. I will spare you all my toilet seat pics (hehe) but will share some others. This is not MY seat lol! But this is definitely what it looks like. [link to i.stack.imgur.com (secure)]  The only thing comes to mind - the skin cells react with something in the plastic of the toilet seat(TS). sort of like some people with kidney conditions would have black skin markings if you roll a cheap gold + copper ring over their skin. Now, do not be too alarmed - you may be all OK, just plastic on TS may be going bad. Or skin cells/lotion + cleaner + TS plastic...
