Cold-Records Fall Across Far-Eastern Russia The COLD TIMES are returning, the mid-latitudes are refreezing, in line with historically low solar activity, cloud-nucleating Cosmic Rays, and a meridional jet stream flow. Prepare. GSM. Before this year, the Greenland ice sheet had never grown anywhere-close to 4 Gigatons in any of the months of June, July, or August, according to DMI records (which go back to 1981). In addition, the DMI record books also reveal that yesterday’s 4 Gt GAIN smashed the previous mid-Aug record by over 2 full Gigatons. Hope the polar bears are getting their ice back - kept reading reports that they were soon to be on the endangered list. thanks for posting this info - I hadn't seen anything about this. Ya know, if those volcanoes keep pumping those thick clouds into the upper atmosphere, added to the solar minimum, we could see some really cooler weather soon!!! I need to get my greenhouse rebuilt!!!
