Thank you both so much. I just got home from dropping him off at the hospital in Boston. I'm a nervous freaking wreck, but he wasn't of course, lol. Hoping to hear something in 10-12 hours. :\  Best wishes, I'm sure he's in good hands. Are they allowing visitors at the hospitals there so you can go see him after the surgery? How long do they anticipate him having to be hospitalized? Do your best to occupy your mind with other things today. Hopefully time will go fast and next thing you know you'll get a call that the surgery was a success and all is fine!  Thank you He's allowed one visitor while he's there and it has to be the same visitor the whole time. Once he's out of ICU and alert I will go see him. That will probably be Friday earliest (I think). They said he will be in the hospital for 5-7 days. Ok good, glad you will be able to go be with him. I didn't realize he'd be in ICU so long. I guess that makes sense, but it seems hospitals (insurance) rushes things so much I thought he'd be out of ICU by tomorrow.
