Short wave IR is picking up again for NMSZ. What's odd is that it only seems to occur during daytime hours. If this was geological in nature, I would expect the temp spikes to remain somewhat consistent over a 24-hour period.

Note: In IR, day is dark, night is light. It's inverted - based on temps.

I admit this has got me worried. I'm starting to feel like I need to sleep with my clothes and shoes on, in case there's an EQ in the middle of the night and I'm woken up in a stupor!

Here's a different map that zooms in much closer to the MO boot heel so you can see the heat spots better

Adding to this concern are some of the comments on Dutch's last 2 videos on this topic. Samples below-

Headaches here in SW Missouri all my dogs and cats are acting crazy!!

I also am in St. Louis and feel like hell and my cat was acting sooooo wild this morning literally running in circles jumping all over furniture

Wow! My mom lives in Mo- 45 miles west of St. Louis, said she’s feeling crappy with a headache

right outside KC and I've been having headaches for past 3 days

Ok I live near St Charles Missouri. My animals have been straight up nuts all day. My dog who usually lays around like a lazy bum is pacing from living room to kitchen and crying. I let dogs out twice in an hours time, they got food, and treats. The dogs out of his mind.

my CAT'S doing the same thing to the point where its obvious somethings up!

I'm in Albuquerque, NM. My dog just out of the blue started darting her head looking everywhere. She jumped off of the couch, came by my legs in this chair and kept looking all around and sniffing the air. She looked terrified. Then she did something she's never done before. She tucked her tail, put her ears down and crawled under this living room chair. The space between the floor and the chair is so small she had to belly crawl to get under there. She's still there and won't come out. She has never ever ONCE gone under this chair.

Driving up to St. Louis from west tn. Seen a huge white plume of smoke west of interstate 55 between dyersburg and sikeston

Traveling up I-55 Sunday from Memphis area and noticed the exact “white plume” to the west on my way to Sikeston. Crazy times.
