I knew if anyone would be talking about this it would be this thread. Don't know if it's just me but everything on USGS is loading like frozen molasses USGS is the worst! Slow with everything. If they report it at all. I can't get the livecams to load worth a damn, except the thermal. Everyone and their dog is probably trying to get at it just now. I only recently stopped checking the quake data regularly too, got distracted by other things. Can't believe how high the magma got, I wonder if the fissures are going to pop again |

Can't believe how high the magma got, I wonder if the fissures are going to pop again The activity has noticeably increased recently, and all over the island, including Mauna Kea. A few days ago there was one day where there was a lull in quakes. Only a few all day. Then the next day it kicked into high gear and there were a lot of little swarms. After that lull/increase I got really suspicious and I checked the HVO. They had just updated Kilauea but it was still listed at a green advisory and other than mentioning an uptick of quakes, they didn't seem concerned at all. |
