Holy smokes, I've never seen a spike that big - either direction!

According to my EQ app, this was originally a 6.1. I wonder if this correlates with that big spike? I would think it has to.

Also, the location of this quake is due east of that buoy that has gone off many times between Australia and Jakarta.

I thought it was a great photo too. It looked really pretty here last night as the moon rose, because the skies were clearing out at the time.

Well, that make up for yesterday where there were NO Mexico earthquakes either above 100km deep or under 10km deep. Ive not seen/noticed that before!





Whoops, now Ive caught up, I can report:
5 Mexico earthquakes above 100km deep and 8 under 10km since yesterday!

I thought that sounded odd, I just did a search myself and came to say the same! Either way, the # of quakes early today was high. Usually when I get ready to post the quakes I check for any pop ups starting at the beginning of the day up to where Simple stopped posting the night before. Never have I seen that many in Mexico in that short time frame.
