Here in the SoCal mountains maybe 2 inches so far here for snow but not sticking on the street yet. Expect more snow later in the day and into tomorrow.

Enjoy that snow! I just checked in on our eagle friend on the livestream, and it's snowing in Big Bear. I know she can handle it, but man, she looks cold and miserable!

We had beautiful weather yesterday! I think it reached 60 degrees. Today is a bit cooler, but tomorrow we might hit 70!

Most people across the world think that Denver gets a lot of snow but they are seeing those large totals for the mountains. Denver basically is the western edge of the Great Plains. We don't get big storms that dump big snow 'OFFICIALLY'. Many times the official amounts aren't what is seen in the rest of the area. DIA is where the official amounts happen and they can say we got 4 inches, while at my house there was over 2 feet. Really messes with things.

In 2003 we actually got 3 feet of snow with drifts between 5 and 6 feet depending on the yard. The neighborhood kids were sliding off my car roof out into the street, made snow forts and walked from the front to the backyard over the 3.5 foot fence which was under almost 5 feet of snow.

Good, you deserve some nice weather after that extended cold. That's the weather we've had the last 3-4 days and it's been lovely. Tomorrow rain moves in and it's going to rain nonstop through Monday. I think we're supposed to get 3-4" of rain total, and there's also a threat of severe storms. We'll have a dry day next Tuesday, then rain again Wed. and Thurs. next week! Geez, it's always feast or famine with everything nowadays, nothing in moderation.
