Thank you KickinIt. It’s been wonderful. So much happened in last month it wasn’t funny. I needed this so bad. Heading out Sunday morning, will drive half way and finish on Monday. Ready for the office Tuesday nice and rested and restored.

Glad you've had a good trip, Isis. Vacations are truly important! Especially in this topsy-turvey world!

Had a crazy few days at the condo last weekend through Wed. Found pipes that had frozen and busted, so had no running water. Some construction materials left on the roof came partially loose and caused lots of racket in the high winds we had. If all that wasn't going on, I'd have liked to stay - locals are saying that the ski basin next to our condo will get between 2 to 5 FEET of snow this weekend. Would like to sit in my living room and watch that much snow come down!!!!

Daughter drove her daughter to Ft Worth for a bowling tournament yesterday. Spent the night in a nice hotel. Got up this morning to head to the bowling alley and the truck sounded like a race car. Someone had gotten under it during the night and cut off the catalytic converter!!!! Can't believe it. Cost nearly $600 to fix. Jeez....it's hubby's work truck.

Thanks for the reminder about the time change, Simple. I hate it. Wish they would stop doing it. One more thing they didn't ask my opinion on....

Deputies Recover Stolen Catalytic Converters Worth $750,000 and Arrest 19 People

Santa Clarita Valley sheriff's deputies Wednesday arrested 19 people and recovered 250 stolen catalytic converters after serving search warrants at four locations.

The multi-agency operation was aimed at reducing the theft of the pollution devices attached to the exhaust systems of vehicles which increased 400% in Los Angeles County in 2020, said Natalie Arriaga of the Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff's Station.

The recovered catalytic converters were valued at about $750,000, Arriaga said. Deputies also seized about $100,000 and an unregistered or "ghost" gun.
