My dad got his first jab tonight. Pfizer. So far so good. God please do not let this man have any negative side effects.

Yeah, Mom's had a shot, because my sisters insisted she have one, and gets her second in about 10 days. She would probably be one of those who would be fine. Even at 89, but who knows!

My mom got her first tattoo tonight lol! I know a lot of people on GLP don't care for tats, but I like them when properly placed.

My mom has had 2 hip surgeries (on the same hip) and has two big scars that really bother her. Her tattoo is pretty big and covers both of the scars! It's a rose and a daisy. All done in black ink, no color. It won't show unless she's in her bathing suit. I love it!

I also wanted to mention that Mexico has been awfully quiet for the last 10days or so, with some days, 0 quakes above 100km deep and 0 under 10km deep! The last most active day was back on the 15th March(my time zone)

That's how I feel about my dad. If anyone can handle the jab, he can. Those strong Irish folks. :)

He's only 60 and in pretty good health. Goes to the gym regularly.

Had a friend who had the old fashion gallbladder surgery years ago - cut open from upper right abdomen to the lower left. She HATED the scar. Went in and got a massive tattoo to cover it up. Rose vines with yellow roses. It look totally awesome when she was done but she said she would never ever do it again. The pain from the tattooing was too intense on scar tissue on the tummy.

Personally, I don't like them. My husband and daughter both have tats.

You might as well show us as long as it isn't too TMI - lol

Hello all...things are better today. That sleeping pill knoked my lights out. Not only did I sleep like the dead last night, but could have laid back down & gone to sleep at any time today. Observed grandson today - he got up 7 made breakfast this morning, but would literally pass out asleep if he got still for more than 30 seconds. The meds they sent him home on are just waaaayyyy too much. I see why he had the wreck. The new doc has taken him off some of his meds and reduced the strength of the others. I don't think he took any illegal stuff last Fri.

Still no sign of the dog, but not giving up hope.

Like the tatoo, Simple. That's about the only reason I'd get one, but I like what your mom did. Scars are hard to deal with, sometimes. And praying for all who have taken the vaccine, that there will be no adverse effects.
